INSPECT BATTERY VOLTAGE

Standard voltage:

11 to 14 V

If the voltage is below 11 V, recharge or replace the battery before proceeding.

CHECK FOR DTC*

(a) Check for DTCs and note any codes that are output METER / GAUGE / DISPLAY: METER / GAUGE SYSTEM: DTC CHECK / CLEAR (2008 Sequoia) .

(b) Clear the DTCs METER / GAUGE / DISPLAY: METER / GAUGE SYSTEM: DTC CHECK / CLEAR (2008 Sequoia) .

(c) Recheck for DTCs. Based on the DTCs output above, try to force output of the same CAN communication system DTC or meter / gauge system DTC by simulating the symptoms indicated by the DTC.
